The video of your song Faking It goes on a journey of an artist having anxiety and battling with depression, are you aiming to tackle social issues as well through your music?
We decided to take our time with shooting and editing this video without rushing it because we wanted to tackle a social issue. Our industry is such that amidst all the glam and glitz and the fast life, mental health is kept away from the spotlight. Like in most industries, there is a huge stigma involved with discussing such issues openly and with this video we wanted to try and break that stigma. We want people to know that it is okay to feel low and it is certainly okay to talk about and ask for hep.
You have performed at the most iconic music festivals throughout the world, what would you say is the difference between music festival in India to that in foreign seas?
Music festivals in India have an unreplaceable energy. We absolutely love playing for Indian festivals as the crowds are more expressive and energetic. The foreign festivals are logistically enhanced and that is due to the decades of experience and the technology they have but we are sure that Indian festivals will be at par with foreign festivals, in the near future.
When can we expect you to drop your next single? Could you give us a hint as to what it is about?
The next Lost Stories single is scheduled for June 2019 and the track is going to be yet another fresh take on EDM. Our last three singles have broken moulds and have created a movement be it with the energy levels via Reveal Yourself, or the future bass strength via Faking it or be it the importance of ethnic vocals via Mahi. Our next single will also be something unique and we cannot wait to reveal it.
Do you believe that there is potential for live performances on digital platforms like Vh1 Listen? Does it help you connect better with your fan?
We are excited to collaborate with Vh1 Listen and we believe that it is an effectual platform for both the artists and the listeners. The listeners are presented with a chance to listen to a live set which is cutting edge and very unique from a physical show. The artists get a chance to experiment and play with their sound while pushing its boundaries.
You have been very successful when it comes to collaborations with artists, who are you collaborating with next?
We have collaborated the young singing star of India, Armaan Malik, who is the current heartthrob of the nation. We have produced a track called Piya in collaboration with Armaan, which is under works currently. We will also be collaborating with aspiring music producers. We believe in collaborating with young artists as they bring in a horde of fresh ideas and they have a very unique way of observing and absorbing the current trends. We are very proud of all the students of Lost Stories Academy and will be collaborating with some of them soon.
