Amy wins Best Documentary at the 88th Academy awards

The highly anticipated 88th Academy Awards were unveiled at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on Sunday night. Spotlight won Best Picture while Mad Max: Fury Road came into the night with the second-most nominations 10 and won six trophies, twice as many Oscars as its closest rival. The Revenant which had a leading 12 nomimations. Amid the outcry and protests over the lack of diversity in the acting nominees this year, Chris Rock hosted Hollywood’s biggest night honoring the best of film from the past year.
