Dedicated to celebrating musical excellence, The Global Indian Music Academy (GiMA) Awards has announced the 6th edition of its prestigious awards, inviting entries from music labels, producers, and independent artistes. The Call for Entries went live from Monday, 11th January 2016 and will be open until Tuesday 26th January 2016.

Eagles' co - founder Glenn Frey dies at 67

Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey passed away on Monday evening. The band posted a statement on its Facebook page, listing “complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia” as the causes of death. Guitarist Glenn Frey, a founding member of the legendary classic rock band the Eagles, had discolsed his health condition back in November, when the band were forced to pull out of attending the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony because he required major surgery.
