The New Zealand based singer and songwriter, Lorde has finally dropped her new album, ‘Melodrama’ after a long wait of four years. Lorde tasted success with her multi platinum international debut single Pure Heroine in 2013 and has delivered yet another stunning album.

The album was recorded over a course of 18 months alongside co-producer and writer, Jack Antonoff. Lorde states that ‘Melodrama’ is an album based on solitude, heartbreak and loneliness.

The album is intriguing and has portrayed Lorde in the correct manner wherein the singer has successfully achieved to portray the struggles of everyday life. Apart from the excellent tunes, the majority of the album was written at the piano making it more intriguing.  Whilst few songs were released earlier, the album was only released on the 16th of June! All in all, the album seems to be garnering fabulous responses and shows that the 20 year old singer is in for the long haul!
