Lauv announces debut support Tour across Asia with Ed Sheeran

23-year old independent singer/songwriter/producer Lauv, recently announced he will be supporting Ed Sheeran through his tour of Asia, a huge 14 date run commencing in Osaka, Japan on 25th October, and closing in Dubai on November 23rd. Lauv will be busy throughout the region so be sure to follow him on his socials to stay tuned on his potential activities in your city.

About going on tour with Ed, Lauv comments: “Words cannot express my excitement to have the opportunity to tour with one of the most genuine artists of this era in multiple countries i've never been to in my life. Honored is a start.”

The tour announcement follows the release of the video for his new single I Like Me Better as well as a video titled Hello, an introductory video explaining a bit more about the young talent. I Like Me Better has had over 100 million online streams, is currently climbing up the charts worldwide. He is quietly becoming one of this year’s most important new artists.

This past month, Lauv released the Cheat Codes remix to I Like Me Better as well as a Spotify Session which includes a stripped back version of I Like Me Better and Akon’s Don’t Matter. Lauv has recently had songwriting credits on Boys by Charli XCX (named a “Best New Track” by Pitchfork) and on the US Top 10 hit single No Promises by Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato.

Lauv’s newest song follows the release of his debut single The Other, a song Lauv wrote while studying at NYU, which has also amassed over 100 million streams on Spotify.

Based in LA by way of NYC Lauv said, “Before I started making music as Lauv, I'd lost that sense of who I really was for a while. It seems like a lot of people lose touch with that forever, and end up living a life that’s not really true to who they are. By being so honest in my songs, I want to encourage people to be okay with who they are and what they feel. More than anything else, that's what drives me to create music in a massive way.”

Earlier this summer, Lauv embarked on his US sold-out “late nights, deep talks” tour- his first headlining tour. He also performed at Summerfest in July, and performed at Billboard Hot 100 Festival on August 20th At Jones Beach in New York.
