The much awaited Piano Day is back for the third year.

An evening dedicated to the piano and keyboards. Piano Day celebrations are common in cities around the globe

As every year, this year too, Mumbai Piano Day will be celebrated on 29th September and will feature some of the finest piano and keyboard players from the country.

You have the amateur and professional ivory ticklers including the Godfather of Jazz Louiz Banks, Stephen Devassy, Kashyap Iyengar, Gulraj Singh, Teen sensation Lydian Nadhaswaram, Maneck Billimoria, Anurag Naidu, Assel Dautpayeva, with guest artists drummer Gino Banks and bassist Sheldon D’silva. Most of the artists will perform either solo or in ensembles involving other instruments. The evening will showcase jazz, western classical, fusion, funk, and everything in between, all with a common area: the love of music and the piano.

It’s a great way to celebrate this wonderful instrument, the musicians, the composers. It’s a platform to share the love of the piano and music and those that love listening to it. Since its inception, the event has been gaining traction and getting a positive response.

The desire to celebrate this versatile instrument is growing greater every year, thanks to people who not only love the piano, but also put in a great effort to make sure the day is special for the musicians. Mumbai Piano Day wouldn’t be possible without the support and initiative by Neil Banks (Gigatainment),the legendary Louis Banks and the NCPA.

It’s an evening not to be missed.
