Music aficionados have another reason to rejoice as yet another global festival makes a foray onto India terrain. After Sensation, EDC, Ultra, Dont Let Daddy Know and Tomorrowland, Life In Color will be making its grand debut on November 18, 2018 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Grounds in New Delhi. After invigorating crowds in US, UK, El Salvador, Bolivia, Paraguay, China, Thailand and many other countries, the festival is finally making its way to India for a unique celebration of sound packed full of insane beats and a whole lot of paint, in association with Phoenix Live.
Miami’s flagship festival, launched in 2013,promises to be the biggest and brightest celebration of sight and sound Indian LIC fans have ever witnessed. Known for hosting some of the biggest names in dance music, including Jack U, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, Knife Party, Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Major Lazer, Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Diplo, with thousands of gallons of paint thrown into the mix for an added touch of flair, Life in Color refuses to turn over the crown that it has earned for insane lineups and next-level festival production and performance art.
Billed by its organizers as the "world's largest paint party", the tour features performances by electronic musicians, joined by artistic performers and the tour's signature spraying of the audience with paint throughout the show. The line-up is well stacked with popular names from the music world. Diplo will bring his dance-pop brilliance to the headlining stage, joined by 4B, Divine, Ritviz and Smokey. Beyond the music will be live murals and DIY paint stations where attendees can make their own works of art on the walls or on their friends. Colored smoke will bring new dimension to the venue as it wafts around from stages throughout the grounds. Of course, there will be shots of paint through the air.
Sharing his excitement on bringing this unique festival to India, Bharath Varma, Managing Partner, Phoenix Live says, “The festival is known for its larger than life experiences that feature the best of EDM acts, soaring aerial acts, neon paints, stilt walkers, contortionists, and fire shows, this without a doubt is a festival unlike any other. It’s like one gigantic color celebration! We are confident of delivering an eclectic experience that the audience hasn’t been privy to thus far in the country and making LIC a regular fixture within the festival circuit in India.”
Adding on Manas Tripathy, Alliance & Artist Head, Phoenix Live states, “We have handpicked a bevy of artists who enjoy appeal across different music groups and have their own take on genre breaking music. We have always believed in giving back something valuable to the community, hence we would host an exclusive contest to bring out the best talent in India and represent them on a global level.”
Elaborating further, Eric Fuller, Founder, Life In Color adds, “Our LIC team is incredibly excited about coming to India for the first time. The truth is we didn't choose India, India chose us! We are always honored and humbled to see the LIC brand enter new markets. We have been working with partners all across the world for multiple years, so we welcome the Phoenix Live team to our network and family! It's always exciting to see what input and energy our partners bring to the table, so we are really looking forward to see what they bring. Our vision for LIC in India would be that we have a flagship festival or large event with a multi-city tour that takes place throughout the year. Ultimately, it's about bringing the LIC experience to as many fans as possible and connecting our fans around the world with a similar experience!”
Suman Sarkar, Director, Sales Phoenix Live opined, “Life in Color’s debut in India has created a frenzy in the client sponsorship category as everyone is trying to be a part of this mammoth entertainment property that has already essayed a fantastic journey across 30 Countries.
