Mumbai-based record label 9122 Records continues to deliver on its promise of bringing into India great International music and talent from around the world. This time, the label is proud to launch an exceedingly talented and young artist from Switzerland, 22-year old singer/songwriter/performer Veronica Fusaro with her brand new single Lie To Me.

Written and recorded in Veronica’s home studio in Thun, Switzerland, Lie To Me is her gorgeous new soul pop single. The track is a beautifully intimate and playful, showcasing real emotion.Influenced by the likes of Frank Ocean, Amy Winehouse and Lana Del Rey but also something fresh from a young musician pushing boundaries. The single is accompanied by a classy music video shot in Marseille, France.

Veronica Fusaro says, “Lie To Me is inspired by a Friday night out, but talks about much more than just a weekend. It addresses the rapidity of the world we live in and our desperate cry to find real emotions. I am so excited to release “Lie To Me” in India through my new home there - 9122 Records. I can’t wait to hear what the audiences out there feel about my music, besides, I’m eagerly looking forward to coming out there to perform my songs and also experience the great Indian culture.”

In the quiet remoteness of her home recording studio in Switzerland, Veronica Fusaro developed her characteristic soul / pop sound along with the bluntness of her songs. At just 22, Veronica has performed at the Swiss Music Awards in Zurich; was invited to the Winter Olympics in Pyeong Chang and played two showcases at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Her accolades include winning the «Demo of the Year» at the Swiss M4Music Festival (2016); winning «Best Talent» by the national radio station SRF3 (2017) & her nomination for the Swiss Music Awards 2017.Touring ever since, her music matured with the euphoric reactions of her listeners. On small and large stages, from New Zealand all the way to London, back to Switzerland, Veronica Fusaro captivates audiences by building sound structures with live multi-instrumental loops - or by simply standing at the edge of the stage with her guitar and singing her songs with her affecting voice.With 2 soft release EPs and the experience of a phenomenal 136 shows around the world in 2018, 2019 is set to be Veronica's big breakthrough year.  The young musician is ready for the stages of the world, with brand new songs, skillfully balancing between the depth and playfulness of her music: pure, powerful and intimate.
