International pop star Dua Lipa has been confirmed by OnePlus, the global technology brand, to perform at the OnePlus Music Festival. Set to take place on Saturday, 16^th November 2019 at the D.Y Patil Stadium in Mumbai, the much-anticipated music festival will offer Dua Lipa’s first ever performance in India.

Speaking about her upcoming performance, Dua Lipa said, “So excited to perform in India for the first time ever. I’m excited to get back on stage, I feel like it’s going to be such a fun night.”

With Dua Lipa’s joining Katy Perry for the Festival, OnePlus brings together an excitingcombination of international super star artists to thrill the audience in India. The OnePlus Music Festival aims to create a unique, contemporary space for its community as well as music and culture enthusiasts to come together, watch their favorite artists in action and discover new music.

Dua made her debut with Warner Music Group in August 2015 with her first single New Love. Dua gained global popularity in 2015 with her second single, Be the One which saw major success across Europe, Australia as well as New Zealand. Her single One Kiss with Calvin Harris gained number one spot in the UK charts in 2018. Dua’s fifth single Blow Your Mind was release in August 2016, becoming a worldwide hit yet again, gaining entry into the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Billboard Dance Club songs chart. She has had four singles reach UK top 10 in 2017 with Be The One, No Lie, Bridge over Troubled Water, and New Rules. New Rules release also made Dua Lipa the first female solo artist reach the top spot in the UK since 2015.

Tickets to the OnePlus Music Festival will go on sale starting at 12 noon on Tuesday, 17th September 2019. The tickets are priced at INR 2,000 onwards, and OnePlus users can also avail 10% cash back through their Insider or Paytm accounts.

Dua Lipa’s music won her many notable awards including BRIT awards and Grammy awards to name a few. She also collaborated with global stars such as Sean Paul, Diplo, Calvin Harris and several others.
