If you are a big fan of U2, surely you wouldn’t want to miss out on laying your hands on the tickets for their debut performance in Mumbai on 15^th December 2019 at D.Y Patil Stadium.

Live Nation and BookMyShow are excited to announce that U2 will bring their acclaimed U2: The Joshua Tree Tour - the record-breaking smash hit tour celebrating the band’s seminal 1987 album ‘The Joshua Tree’ - to India. The legendary band, which has hits such as With or Without You, Beautiful Day, I Still haven’t found what I am looking for, Where the Streets have no name and Sweetest Thing, are sure to give fans a concert to remember. 

Irish rock band U2 will be performing in India for the first time in December.The band is set to bring their acclaimed "U2: The Joshua Tree Tour" tour celebrating the band's 1987 album by the same name to Mumbai on 15th December. It will be the final show of their The Joshua Tree tour.

The concert in Mumbai is produced by Live Nation Global Touring and brought to India by BookMyShow.

Tickets for the Mumbai concert go on sale 24^th September, with prices ranging from INR 3,000 ($42) to INR 14,000 ($196).

The band comprises frontman Bono, guitarist the Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen Jr.

"Mumbai is the perfect city to end our JT 2019 tour. We are very excited to see you there," said Mullen.

"We are very much looking forward to bringing a dash of Dublin to Mumbai, India. A country famous for its rich culture of art, music, movies, theatre, literature, food and so much more. There is a lot of excitement in the U2 camp," said Clayton.

To this, Edge added: "We have been around the world with The Joshua Tree and we can't think of a better place to celebrate the end of this tour. Mumbai, India, we're coming for you, I hope you're ready."

With the Joshua Tree 2019, the band will also have performed in Singapore, Seoul and Manila for the first time ever.

Registrations for the Mumbai concert have begun on BookMyShow, and will conclude on 23^rd September.

The dates to book tickets on the band’s offical website are 24th and 25th September - U2.com Pre-sale.

In India you can also buy tickets on PhonePe from 26^th September to 29^th September 2019. You can also book the general tickets witht the price beginning at Rs 3,000, and could go up to Rs 14,000; these will go on sale from 1^st October, on BookMyShow and on LiveNation.com.
