Veronica Fusaro, the charismatic 22-year old singer / songwriter and soul pop sensation from Switzerland who recently released her new 5-track EP ‘Sunkissed’ exclusively on 9122 Records made her maiden India visit this week. Veronica performed an acoustic set of her  songs in Mumbai on 21st October at G5, Mahalaxmi in Mumbai. Over a gig hosted by 9122 Records and the Consulate General of Switzerland, Fusaro performed her tracks Rollercoaster, Lie to me, Venom, Better if I go and her new track Sunkisssed.

The one hour performance also had cover songs of popular artists such as Blackstreet’s No Diggity where she got the audience to join in and her favorite Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You.

“Performing in India is like a dream come true,” expressed Fusaro who has travelled to over 135 countries.

Her trip to India was plagued with trouble the moment she left her home country Switzerland, when her flight from Istanbul to Mumbai was delayed. “I thought I wouldn’t be able to make it for the performance, but I reached her this afternoon. But then another surprise awaited me when I landed in Mumbai, a few of my bags hadn’t come on the flight. But here I am with whatever I have and singing for you”stated the bespectacled lass.

Fusaro has played over 150 shows worldwide including Glastonbury 2019 and a dream call to open for the legendary Mark Knopfler at the 'Festival De Nimes' in France. 2019 has so far been a stellar year for Veronica, she’s dropped two gorgeous  singles Lie To Me and Rollercoaster, earned a slot at Glastonbury 2019 and then a dream call to open for the legendary Mark Knopfler at the `Festival De Nîmes’ in France.  She’s also toured the world playing stages in North America, Canada, UK and Europe.

Post her performance, Fusaro mingled with the audience that consisted of members of the Swiss consulate, the media and new fans. She also posed for selfies.
