Among the many who won big time at the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards was rapper Emiway Bantai who took the big ticket of Best India Act, beating Prateek Kuhad, Rajakumari, Parikrama and Komorebi.

On the international muisc circuit, Halsey, who had four looks prepared for the event took home Best New Pop Act and Best Look at the 2019 Europe Music Awards ceremony held at FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Andalusia, Spain.

Other artists who made a mark were Billie Eilish who managed to nab Best Song for Bad Guy, followed up by Best New Artist. Taylor Swift who has been reigning supreme since her return and new album earlier this year, won Best Video for her album ‘ME’, as well as Best US Act. The fans favorite band from overseas BTS beat Taylor and Ariana Grande for Best Live Act.

Sadly a few big names walked home with nothing. Ariana and Lil Nas X, who both led the nominations with seven each, walking away empty handed. Other notable wins included Shawn Mendes missing out on a Best Song gong with Camilla Cabello, but still reigning supreme after the Best Artist win.
