India’s International GrooveFest season 2 - IIGF 2019, an International Dance Championship where talented dance performers from all around the globe gets the equal opportunity to perform on International Platform. it’s a chance to collaborate with the distinguished brilliant artists from around the world, specially participants of Indian diaspora.
IIGF 2019 season 2, International Dance Championship was held on 2nd Nov 2019 at Bangkok – Thailand. The ultimate Group Winner was “The Five Star Crew” from Pune, Maharashtra, who was felicitated with cash prize of worth Rs. 3 lakhs along with magnanimous Trophy & gold medals.
The Ultimate Solo Winner is Ananya Gaur from Ujjain Madhya Pradesh and The Ultimate Duet Winners are Aditya Somani Shivangi Somani from Ahmedabad, Gujrat, who also won the cash prize of worth Rs. 1 lakh each.
IIGF 2019 had various dance categories to compete in such as as Classical, Semi-classical, freestyle, folk, super woman (30 + age ladies). All the Category winners were also appreciated with Gold, Silver & Bronze medals, trophies & International Level Certificates. Total 375 contestant participated from countries like India, Dubai, Oman, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia.The Thailand tour for all these contestants were efficiently managed by Kesari Tours & Travels.
The Juries for IIGF 2019 Grand finale were National Award Winner actress and Bharatnatyam Dancer Sudha Chandran and Bollywood Actor Sushant Pujari (featured in ABCD &ABCD 2 films & upcoming film Street Dancer). Celebrity Choreographer Vaibhav Ghuge (Nach Baliye & Super Dancer winner) and Choreographer , performer and Lavniking Ashish Patil (High fever runner up and Dholkichya Talawar Winner) were the finale judges for IIGF 2019.
India’s International GrooveFest 2019 is the unique and entertaining fusion of Indian culture and Western dance traditions at international level, conceived by the concept of choreographer Megha Sampat. The primary purpose was to bring all participants together with each other by exchanging their dancing talents and strengthening the artist within them. It was an inspirational experience for all participants and audiences to showcase the unique combination of the Indian and Western dance on the same platform.
The originator of this remarkable concept, renowned choreographer Megha Sampat has earned extensive experience being in Hindi-Marathi film industry for last 15 years. She is proficiently trained dancer in “Bharatanatyam” and “Kathak” dance forms complimented with mastery of Western dance form. She is also a respected and valued member of International Dance Council CID- (UNESCO) in the UNESCO organization.
