Taylor Swift looks to creating history by becoming just the 5th solo female win ‘The Song Of The Year’ at the Grammy’s 2020

Taylor Swift is certainly having the best spell of her career as she is dominating global charts with her hit singles Lover, You Need to Calm Down, ME!, Soon You’ll Get Better amongst other sensational tracks.

Recently breaking the record for the most wins at the American Music Awards and being credited as ‘The Artist Of The Decade’, the starlet is set to create history once more at music industry’s prestigious award gala – the GRAMMYs. Taylor currently has 3 nominations at the prestigious award ceremony, one of them being her track Lover up in contention for ‘Song Of The year’ against songs by music icons such as Lady Gaga, Billie Elish, Lana Del Rey, Lizzo, Tanya Tucker, H.E.R and Lewis Capaldi.

If she wins, the starlet would be just the fifth solo woman to win Song of the Year and the first since more than a decade (2008).Taylor Swift is also nominated in the category ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ for her hit single You Need To Calm Down and in the category “Best Pop Album” for Lover.

The Grammys will be aired live in the country exclusively on Vh1 India, 27th January 2020
