Vh1 Summer League 2020 concludes on a high with Taylor Swift triumphing over the Weeknd

The lockdown blues of Summer 2020 curbed out with the re-emergence of the season’s hottest and biggest virtual music competition – Vh1 Summer League 2020. Taking the excitement a notch higher, the 4th edition of this spectacle featured electrifying and borderline clashes amongst prominent international sensations such as Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Tones & I and Drake who joined by new age desi icons Rajakumari &Divine went head to head battling it out through three stellar weeks to claim the throne of being the Vh1 Song of The Summer.

Witnessing tooth and nail battles amongst their favourite artists, music aficionados through their votesset up a riveting clash for this year’s finale between The Weeknd (Song: Blinding Lights) and Taylor Swift (Song: The Man) who faced off against one another to claim boasting rights of being the prestigious ‘Summer Anthem’ of 2020 and be the last song standing in this year’s dynamic competition.

The finale which can be classified as the ‘Battle of Synth-Pop’ went right down to the wire with Taylor Swift emerging victorious as her hit single The Man crushed the competition getting twice as many votes in the final battle to become was bestowed upon the crown of being the Vh1 Song of The Summer.

Being a finalist of last year’s Summer League, fans of Taylor Swift are rejoicing with delight as the American sensation continues to remain a favourite amongst music aficionados in the country and has cemented her position as the champion of Vh1 Summer League 2020.
