Mid this week The Weeknd unleashed the remix of his mega smash hit Save Your Tears, featuring his previous collaborator Arianna Grande with who he has done work earlier too.

The original song appeared on the Weeknd’s chart-topping fourth studio album, which has received a number of remixes over the past year, most notably an updated version of In Your Eyes and Blinding Lights.

The Save Your Tears remix marks the Weeknd’s and Grande’s third collaborative effort when she worked with him on Grande’s Love Me Harder and Off the Table. Grande stated that she wrote a verse and a chorus, and sent it over to Abel, and asked him if it was OK. “And he was like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to write the second verse. It was a very intimate moment and writing process between two friends.”  

The Weeknd sadly was given the royal miss at this year’s Grammys, but the year seeems very promising for the signer whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye. For starters the Canadian singer performed at the Super Bowl LV halftime show, dropped an NFT colelction, earned multiple certifications for his album ‘After Hours’.
