Hardwell to bring his ‘Rebels Never Die’ Album World Tour to India

Asia’s biggest electronic dance music festival Sunburn will be hosting the illustrious EDM titan Hardwell. Exclusively executing the India leg of his ‘Rebels Never Die’ Album World Tour with a standalone arena show in New Delhi NCR on 11th December 2022 for all of his fans across the nation.

The dance music pioneer and former two-time World No.1 DJ, Robbert van de Corput, better known as Hardwell, has been on a roll since he marked his highly awaited return at Ultra Music Festival in March 2022.

In the Autumn of 2018, the superstar Dutch producer announced that he would pause touring after more than a decade of performing at the world’s biggest festivals. This surprise announcement of his retirement from touring shocked millions of fans worldwide, wondering if they would ever see him perform again. At the pinnacle of his career, Hardwell chose to move out of the spotlight after more than a decade of chasing his dream. Stepping away from a journey that bore over 120 x singles, 80 x remixes, 1 x artist album, 11 x compilation albums, 2 x documentaries, 2 x arena world tours, countless international headline performances, and more.

It’s a no-brainer that his triumphant return at Ultra Music Festival, his first official performance since his Ziggo Dome concert with the MetropoleOrkest Symphony in October 2018, made world history as the most anticipated return show of 2022. He surprised the 150,000-strong crowd by performing a surprise set on the main stage to close the festival’s weekend. While online, his set broke Ultra’s live stream attendance records, with fans tuning in from all over the world to watch Hardwell’s first official live set in over 3.5 years.

Revealing a new show and new sound, alongside announcing a 24-date world tour supporting his new album, ‘Rebels Never Die’. Hardwell used his headline slot at the recent Ultra Music Festival to dispel all rumours about his retirement and dismiss all notions that his passion for electronic music had waned. His new 14-track solo album, released on his label Revealed Recordings, represents a critical point in the musical shift for one of electronic music’s biggest known stars.

Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn, states, “We are thrilled to manage and host Hardwell, one of the world’s most revered names in electronic dance music, for the India leg of his much-awaited ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ World Tour. Ever since his 2018 announcement, many Indian fans have expressed disappointment, with many questioning if they would ever get to witness their favourite icon back on the Sunburn stage. We at Sunburn are excited to give fans across India an exclusive opportunity to reunite with their idol in the capital and witness his magic again. It is a pleasure to align forces on the comeback of a legend with a longstanding association with our festival.”

The brand new ‘Rebels Never Die’ Album World Tour is a large-scale production concept that will give fans a unique multi-dimensional experience to witness Hardwell perform live back on stage. Hardwell’s ‘Rebels Never Die’ album tour will take him on the road throughout 2022, with 24 dates already confirmed on the biggest stages across Europe, Asia, North and South America.

Hardwell adds, “India is one of my favourite countries to play, and I’m excited to return to a place that has given me so much love and appreciation for my music. I can’t wait to party with you all, and showcase my new sound and show!
