American rapper - singer Post Malone, made his debut performance at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on Saturday night and what a show it was. He performed nonstop with barely a few seconds between songs.

Malone went it alone on stage with only a plastic glass filled with a drink, as his only accompaniment — no band, no DJ, no dancers, no wardrobe changes, no videos on the screen behind him. Just a man in loose pants, wiping the sweat from his face with his tee shirt, singing along to full tracks of his songs.

The well-known rapper churned out hit after hit with songs like Sunflower, Congratulations, Rockstar, Better Now and Circles, I Like You, and in fact made a last minute addition with ‘Sunflower’ on popular demand among many others. The 70 minute set was just not enough for his thousands of fans who turned up to see him perform live.

While Post Malone headlined the Zomato 'Feeding India' concert, the night also saw Indian artists like Zaeden, Ananya Birla, Anuv Jain, Kshmr, Jonita Gandhi, KING and Ritviz as part of the line up

With great stage presence, some killer moves and always engaging with the audience, breaking down the forth wall, Post Malone left everyone in a trance, vibing to his tunes, relating to the lyrics and having the time of their lives. In what was a heart-warming moment, the artist called a fan that held up a placard that read ‘Can I play STAY with you?’ up on-stage and performed an acoustic version of the popular chart-topper.

The stage was lit up, in what was a production treat with fireworks lighting up the evening sky, confetti pouring over the crowd and balls of fire on-stage along with an electrifying light-play.

Indeed, it was a fabulous Saturday evening with the ‘Rockstar’.
