Tender Roots Academy of Performing Arts is a not-for-profit organization with an aim to enrich the minds of school children with the world of performing arts. In the past few years, they have reached out to nearly 10,000 students from over 80 schools in different cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Dehradun, etc. through various modes including exclusive productions, auditions, lecture demonstrations, workshops, and so on.

They are all set to launch the 4th Edition of the unique initiative - Jazz For Kids.

Launched in 2019, Jazz For Kids is a specially-curated concept for children that features eminent international Jazz Musicians, exposes young minds to the smooth sounds of Jazz, and also acquaints them with the rich history of this music. Children also have the opportunity to closely interact with the artists, enabling them to enjoy and appreciate diverse musical cultures from the world.

In its 3 previous editions, Jazz For Kids has featured renowned artists from the Netherlands and the USA, receiving a tremendous response in Mumbai.

This year will feature The Lucus Santana Quintet - a saxophone-led presentation with its roots in Brazil. This event coincides with and is a celebration of International Jazz Day.
