The Sigal Music Museum in Greenville has added a precious instrument to its permanent collection: the signature guitar "DLS1" by Davide Lo Surdo, Italian guitarist recognized by Rolling Stone magazine as the fastest guitarist in the history of music.
Maurizio Baiata, a renowned Italo-American music journalist, recently included Lo Surdo on his new music history book called "Rock Memories Vol. 2".
The Sigal Music Museum is renowned for its collection of historical musical instruments that belonged to icons like Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin. Among them, the piano on which Mozart performed in 1764 at Buckingham Palace stands out, captivating the royal family and the entire British court. The Italian artist's signature guitar, the "DLS1," is a piece crafted in 2021 by the brand Koloss guitars, following the specifications personally provided by Lo Surdo. Its presence within the museum further enriches the extensive collection, bringing with it the power and speed of Davide Lo Surdo's music, which has left an indelible mark in the history of music.
With this new acquisition, the Sigal Music Museum offers visitors the opportunity to admire and connect with the spirit of Davide Lo Surdo.
