Coldplay are back with a new single, Feels Like I'm Falling in Love or, stylized as, “feelslikeimfallinginlove” — the first offering from their upcoming album, ‘Moon Music’, out on 4th October.
The album, which was announced earlier this week, will set new standards for sustainability, with each LP made from 100% recycled plastic bottles (nine per record).
The forthcoming 11-track LP, produced by collaborator and Swedish hitmaker Max Martin, will have limited hand-signed, eco-friendly vinyl editions available for fans to order via the band’s webstie.
Coldplay released their new song Feels Like I'm Falling In Love, stylised 'feelslikeimfallinginlove', after teasing it for a while. The band, who are still on their amazing 'Music of the Spheres World Tour', are also set to appear at Glasatonbury this year.
On 7th June, the band posted a short video on their socials which featured lead singer Chris Martin standing in front of a ferris wheel, and a fairground, which appears to be Santa Monica Pier, in California.
As the short clip of the song plays, a time lapse video is shown. However, in true Coldplay fashion, not only is the video filmed in time lapse, it looks like Chris recorded his lip sync to a very slow version of their track, so it looks 'correct' when sped up. Impressive!
The band have recently been celebrating the 25th anniversary of their ‘Brothers & Sisters’ EP with a special reissue. Originally released on April 26, 1998, via Fierce Panda, the anniversary edition is being offered as a gatefold double BioVinyl 7″.
It’s been nearly three years since Coldplay dropped their last album, 2021’s ‘Music of the Spheres’ which included their BTS-assisted global smash My Universe. The hit collaboration gave the iconic rock band its first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 in 14 years.
