The exclusive national distributors for Kawai Pianos in India, Theme Music hosted a launch Concert on the 30th of November at the Trident, Nariman Point, featuring celebrated Japanese pianist, Maiko Ami, who played the SK7, a top of the line semi concert grand Created in 1987, Shigeru Kawai pianos have been a synonym for excellence in the industry. Completely handcrafted by a select group of technicians known as “Master Piano Artisans” (MPA’s), only about 250 of these instruments are made every year and every piano is custom treated as per the player’s specifications. Rated as one of the Best Pianos in the World by Legendary piano expert, George Kolasis, Shigeru Kawai’s presence in India is bound to open up a new world of playing to both classical and contemporary audiences.

The launch concert saw many dignitaries and senior piano teachers from across the country. The event was also graced with the presence of Mr. Hirotaka Kawai, President, Kawai Musical Instruments Mfg. Ltd. along with top artists, faculty and technicians.
