57th Annual Grammy Awards 2015 Live on Vh1presented by Micromax

Keeping the 2015 international award-fever alive, Vh1 is all set to air the biggest night for international music LIVE in India. Vh1 will be airing the star-studded 57th Annual Grammy Awards LIVE from STAPLES Centre in Los Angeles, California on 9th February, 2015 at 6.30am, with a Prime Time repeat at 9 pm the same evening.

Leading up to the awards, Vh1 has also organised a special contest enabling a lucky winner (+1) to watch music’s biggest night, LIVE and in person.

The 57th edition of this musical extravaganza will witness rapper LL Cool Jas a host for the evening for the 4th time in a row. This year’s Grammy evening will showcase mesmerizing performances by a league of extraordinary music legends. The eclectic line-up comprises of superlative artistes such as seven-time Grammy winner Madonna, hard rock veteran AC/DC, pop star Ariana Grande, country rocker Eric Church, and singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran. This year’s edition of Grammy awards marks the debut performance of highly-nominated artist Sam Smith.

Beyonce, Sam Smith and Pharrell Williams leads the race this year with six nominations each, followed by Beck, Eric Church, Tom Coyne, Drake, Gordon Goodwin, Jay-Z, Miranda Lambert, Sia, Usher, Jack White and Iggy Azalea with four nominations each. The 57th edition of Grammy Awards has introduced two new award categories; namely, Best American Roots Performance and Best Roots Gospel Album.

The Annual Grammy Awards is a part of an illustrious award show line-upaired live on Vh1 which includes Golden Globe Awards, The American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and Video Music Awards & Europe Music Awards.

The Grammys continues its tradition of producing standout musical collaborations, universally known as "GRAMMY® Moments." This year's series of unique pairings includes current nominees Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, a musical couple whose respective songbooks have entertained audiences for a combined 70-plus years; nominees Hozier and Annie Lennox; nominee Jessie J and vocal legend Tom Jones; and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine with singer/songwriter Gwen Stefani in a never-before-seen performance. They join previously announced performers AC/DC, Eric Church, Common with John Legend, Ariana Grande, Miranda Lambert, Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Usher, and Pharrell Williams. Entertainment icon and two-time GRAMMY winner LL COOL J returns as host.

 "Throughout the years, the GRAMMY Awards has paired musical icons with new, upcoming artists to give fans remarkable performances that can only be seen on our stage," said Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow. "This year is no different and, once again, promises to bring together unique musical worlds in innovative ways that blend genres and create new artistic boundaries."

Sixteen-time GRAMMY winner and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Tony Bennett and five-time GRAMMY winner Lady Gaga are nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Cheek To Cheek.

Hozier is up for Song Of The Year for "Take Me To Church."

Jessie J is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Bang Bang" (with Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj).

Four-time GRAMMY winnerAnnie Lennox is nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Nostalgia.

The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards are produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures for The Recording Academy. Ken Ehrlich is executive producer, Louis J. Horvitz is director, and David Wild and Ken Ehrlich are the writers.
