MTV Bloc Party is ready to take over Mumbai’s Juhu bloc for the second time. The unique Bloc Party concept sent Mumbaikars into hyperdrive the last time, with 2 days of nonstop partying around various. Kicking off  at the Iconic Juhu Hotel which is hosting as the main hub this year as well, and then spilling over into 3 Night Blocs around Juhu.

Featuring this year is one of the biggest names in the EDM circuit – DJ Nawed, a resident with Submerge, India’s biggest artist management agency and dance music promoter, Nawed has constantly stayed ahead of the music scene in India by acquiring and playing brand new tunes and almost Impossible to obtain mixes of classics.

When we discussed this collaboration with Nawed, he wasn’t just excited about being a part of blockparty, he was also kicked to create an anthem that would capture the blocparty experience, which is unlike any other music festival – introducing the audience to multiple genres of EDM and creating new party experiences, all bundled together in one epic Bloc Party. DJ Naved created an exclusive set for this year’s BlocParty which ranges from an homage to the greats of EDM to a new age sound that embarks on and tries to capture a journey that is BlocParty

DJ Nawedsays "I got the inspiration for this track while listening to Axwell on the main stage at Tomorrowland last year, while everyone else was playing a Kick heavy "Dutch" styled set, Axwell's set was sublime, it was musical and it was a beautiful melodic journey from start to end, it took quite an effort to even get close to emulating that feeling but I'm very happy with the end result and I can't wait to play it out at the Bloc Party."

This year we’ve pieced together the experience very carefully with a horde of exciting activities, installations and signed up 30 of the world’s biggest DJs to give our audience the true Bloc party experience and make this year bigger than before.
