Sula Vineyards, India’s #1 wine producer, introduces their new live music property, Sula Sessions in association with Asahi, Japan’s First Dry Beer, imported to in India by Sula Selections – the import arm of Sula Vineyards. With this, Sula Vineyards aims to provide an opportunity to some of the finest performers in the country to showcase their talent. 

Sula Sessions will be held once a month at prime venues in Pune and Bangalore featuring the best artists and bands on the scene exclusively curated by Ryan Sadri and  his team at New Clear Ideas. Over the next six months one will see the best performers come together to form a live band, the “Sun Collective” that will debut at the upcoming SulaFest 2016.

Speaking at the occasion of this launch, Shraddha Nathani, AVP – Marketing, Sula Vineyards said, “Through SulaFest, we have curated the best of international and Indian bands over the past 8 years. Sula Sessions aims to further reinforce this already existing stronghold whilst giving a platform to some of India’s best talent. We want these live music nights to bring together music lovers, wine enthusiasts and gourmands from all walks of life to create a synergy that will make way for exciting collaborations. Finally, the creation of the “Sun Collective” is poised to be an important milestone for Sula Vineyards.”

The first Sula Sessions makes its way to Bengaluru showcasing a performance by the talented blues-rock, soul and indie act, Kanchan Daniel & the Beards.

Kanchan Daniel and the Beards is a home grown blues rock band and is among the country's most well recognized in the genre. Specialising in blues, they also bring in other influences including R&B, soul, funk and psychedelic rock to form a free flowing stream of sound. Their songs are known for the addictive hip shaking melodies and the band for their high energy stage shows. Expect a dose of unadulterated heavy raw blues.

They have performed at Indian music festivals such as Ragastan, The new Wave festival, The live Music Project, to name a few and have featured on Balcony Tv, TEDx as speakers, NDTV, Vh1 music diaries, Simply the Blues and Rolling Stones India.

They are also in the process of recording their full length debut album.
