Lollapalooza is the concert series that redefined the modern festival experience with its distinct mix of genre-spanning performers and attractions returns to downtown Chicago’s historic Grant Park.Founded by Perry Farrell and launched in 1991 as a touring festival, Lollapalooza has expanded into an annual world-class festival in Chicago, as well as internationally into culturally rich countries including Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Berlin. Lollapalooza is one of the premier destinations both for music fans in the United States and abroad, and is one of few U.S. festivals of its scale to take place in the heart of one of the country’s biggest metropolitan cities. Last year’s festival saw 300,000 attendees over three days with more than 130 artists performing on 8 stages.
