Bringing together two of the trendiest genres in the Indian music scene – Bollywood & EDM, MTV Bollyland is back and this time the ever popular music festival is set to make audiences sway to Bollywood hits with its first ever international gig in Mauritius. Conceptualised by LIVE Viacom18 and Cineyug, the annual Bollywood and EDM festival will see popular Indian artists experiment with electronic dance music beats which will establish that instant connect with audiences in Mauritius.

The previous editions of MTV Bollyland was a resounding success creating waves in the Indian music scene with unforgettable performances by renowned Indian artists such as Atif Aslam, Mika Singh, Honey Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh, Ankit Tiwari, Kanika Kapoor, Neha Kakkar, Akriti Kakkar, Benny Dayal, Raftar, Baadshah DJ Chetas and DJ NYK to name a few. This year promises to be no different wherein Indian audiences will be privy to a musical extravaganza of thumping mix of Bollywood’s latest tracks with heady EDM beats.

MTV Bollyland is aimed at creating a unique experience meant to keep music aficionados tapping their feet to their favourite Bollywood tunes. Multiplying MTV Bollyland 2014 into several platforms which included12 city concerts, 8 club events, 4 campus events across 15 cities reaching 23.5 million Indian till date; it was a conscious decision on the part of LIVE Viacom18 to reach out to the significant tier II markets. Awareness of global music amongst the audience in these regions is rising rapidly and they are attuned to the international trends and developments. They however also have the characteristic affection towards Bollywood which comes naturally to Indians and MTV Bollyland is a harmonious collaboration of two widely loved music categories. Season 3 of MTV Bollyland 2015 will see12 city concerts, 18 club nights, 12 college events and multiple international events with the first being conducted in Mauritiusmaking ‘BDM (Bollywood Dance Music) a global genre’.

Scheduled on 3^rd October in Mauritius, MTV Bollyland will feature performances by Indian playback singer, Neha Kakkar and British singer-songwriter, Arjun. Touted as India’s biggest Bollywood dance music festival, ‘MTV Bollyland’ will also witness renowned DJs – Chetas, Harsh and Vakil will get the crowd boogying to some of the catchiest dance tunes of Bollywood.
