Soon after an astounding performance at Goa on Sunday, Russian maestro Igor Butman's Quartet engaged in an interactive session with visually impaired students from the National Association of Blind at the Little Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai on October 5th. The gathering that consisted of around 50 students, was not only an exchange of inspiration between the band and the students, but also the synchronisation of Indo-Russian talent and music.

Visually impaired pianist Oleg Akkuratov addressed the students on how he could make happiness out of adversities, with music in his life. While the students joined the band on stage with outstanding repercussions, drummer Eduard Zizak and Sergey Korchagin, double bass player were enthralled to see the students enthusiasm towards music.

Igor Butman, who played jazz favorites on the students' request said, "It gave me immense pleasure to play for a lovely audience whom I could draw inspiration from."

The moment was a touching one and the auditorium was spell bound by the music created. Everybody got to witness Oleg's outstanding performance with a NAB student Bhagwan performing the Hindi classic Mera joota hai japani which was a memorable moment for one and all present.
