Indiecision playlists are now available on Apple Music. Apple Music members can now access updated music playlists carefully curated by Indiecison Editor, Arjun S. Ravi. This is a concerted effort to introduce, familiarize and facilitate the growing urban audiences’ choice in contemporary music.

The Indiecision webzine has covered the growth in the alternative music scene in India from its nascent struggle to its promising position now. These valuable insights gained from observing and covering the scene will helps identify promising acts and offer exposure and support to those artists on Apple Music. Kickstarting the endeavor, Indiecision will be sharing the playlist from “Standing By”, the newly launched documentary series that explores the growth of independent music in India, from Independence to the present day. The playlist offers tracks from Indian bands and artists throughout the decades. The playlist will serve as the perfect introduction to the eclectic cauldron that has become the alternative music scene in India. Songs from past legends to present day icons will be a part of this inaugural playlist.

Every week we will be creating and sharing a mixed bag of carefully curated playlists on Apple Music, which will feature songs not only by international acts but also Indian artists from the alternative Indian music scene.  The Indian Indie scene as it is popularly known has a vast and diverse scope spanning from Bedroom Electronica producers to Thrash Metal bands. Our playlists will be themed on events from the scene as well as weekly artist choices.

To complement the weekly playlists we will be sharing links on our social media platforms. In addition, we will encourage users to share and suggest music picks with us on Apple Music Connect.
