Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in collaboration with the National Centre for Performing Arts is organizing an enthralling evening of World Jazz at the Experimental theatre, NCPA on 22nd November 2015. Catch Grammy Award winner, Marcos Nimrichter (Piano) captivate the audience with an international line up of artists like Mili Vizcaino – Vocal, Greg Diamond – Guitar, Johann Berby – Bass and Andre Sousa – Drums.
Featuring palettes from Africa, France, US, Brazil, Spain and Portugal, the concert will be a presentation by multi - national collective of artistes who are presently in residence at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music. Join them as they journey through continents with their rich and varied musicality.
Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music is a 4 acre music college located in Marg Swarnabhoomi, 80 kms from Chennai, India on the scenic East Coast Road. Founded by Guitarist Prasanna, the Academy offers multi-disciplinary music programs for beginner, intermediate and advanced students of music, following the traditional Indian Gurukula system of Indian classical music pedagogy to teach varied genres of music from across the globe. The Academy seeks to provide music education that builds character and personality, preparing students to enter the music industry as performers, arrangers, songwriters, composers, producers, teachers and more.
