Dana Gillespie is once again set to rock India with her signature style risqué blues. She is joined on the India tour, by guitarist Jake Zaitz and pianist Matt Gest, both of whom have been regulars on her blues tours across the world.

After their successful 4 city India tour in September 2015, with French blues band - Lil Red & The Roosters, Mumbai’s unique roots blues festival now in its 4th edition, brings Blues Queen multi-award winning  UK blues legend – Ms. Dana Gillespie.

Gillepsie will up the fun quotient with her signature risqué blues, starting  in Mumbai, moving onto Goa, Bengaluru and Delhi.

Pioneered by Blues lover Anil Mehta of ​Starkonnect Event & Promotion​, this ​pioneer blues festival​, aptly named ​Simply The Blues​,​ has grown tremendously over the past few years to present unadulterated and pure blues music to fans across India besides promoting local blues talent across India and helping them share centerstage with legendary blues artists from across the globe. 

53 years in showbiz, more than 64 albums to her credit, the multiple award winning blues legend from UK will surely leave you asking for more.

On her style of blues, the singer who has been to India many times before states “It’s all about rhythms and emotions. Emerging from a working class environment, it had elements of bawdiness in it.
