The happiest music festival saw a massive turnout of music lovers at its Pune event held at Laxmi Lawns near Magarpatta city on the 4th, 5th and 6th of December. With crowds pulling in to the venue from Pune and surrounding cities to catch the biggest and the best on the music scene, the festival was completely sold out.
A vibrant musical treat greeted people of all ages to a unique blend of international and Indian artists with power-packed performances like Vishal Dadlani’s all-star tribute to Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Grammy Award-winner Mark Ronson, Rodrgio y Gabriela, Pierce Brothers, Nucelya, Niladri Kumar, Baba Sehgal, Rehan Dalal, Vir Das’ Alien Chutney and many more.
The festival provided a delicious selection of food right from traditional preparations to cuisines from all other parts of the country at the Food Bazaar by Swiggy. The Maker’s Market by Engrave showcased an array of creative products from artists, craftspeople and DIYers from across India. In addition to these, there were activities and interactive concepts including the Stray Dog jamroom for aspiring musicians, Saavn’s recording studio, Jack & Jones’ human foosball game and their unique take on the game of Twister and Roposo’s DIY t-shirt designs.
Grammy Award-winning virtuoso A. R. Rahman performed at a muliti-stage music festival for the first time. He was joined by the hugely popular Flying Lotus, SBTRKT (DJ set), Hidden Orchestra, Thumpers, The Map Room, Swarathma, Nicholson, Raghav Sachar, Alisha Pais, Hriday Gattani and a host of some of the best that the Indian music scene has to offer.
