Johnnie Walker – The Journey leaves audiences truly inspired with its third edition.

For the third year in a row, Mehboob Studios in Mumbai played host to the year’s most awaited festival of inspiration - Johnnie Walker The Journey. Witnessing yet another year of a packed audience, the festival delivered on its promise of inspiring through unique audio-visual treats.

In its third edition now, Johnnie Walker The Journey this year, featured phenomenal performances by the legendary synth icon Giorgio Moroder, post-alternative crusaders Explosions In The Sky and downtempo ambient producer Tycho, providing audiences with an extraordinary experience. To add an element of the surreal, theater whiz LEO’s gravity defying act left audiences spellbound. For the film buffs, award winning British film director Stevan Riley screened his documentary Listen to Me Marlon on the inner life of Hollywood icon Marlon Brando, for the first time ever in India!To watch the legend come alive on screen, narrating his own life story left the audiences inspired and emotional!

Celebrating the brands legacy and philosophy of inspiring personal progress, each artiste shared the story of their personal journey, which truly brought the festival to life making it unforgettable for those in search of something unique. Among the audience, drawing inspiration at the festival were familiar faces like Kiran Rao, Aayan Mukherjee, Sudhir Mishra, Alyque and Shazahn Padamsee, Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi who were enjoying the sights and sounds of the festival.

The festival drew to a close with Disco legend Giorgio Moroder performing to a captivated and thoroughly entertained audience, leaving them wondering what to expect at the next edition. LEO also performed two shows on Sunday, 13th December which were equally appreciated by the audience.

All the artistes were extremely excited about their first trip to India and expressed their enthusiasm by interacting with audiences.
