At the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, Hollywood’s finest gathered to salute the start of trophy season. Helmed by comedian Ricky Gervais with presenters including Helen Mirren, Kevin Hart and Mel Gibson, the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles played host to television and film’s favorites. the star-studded audience applauded a bevy of roles on the 10^th January evening.

Winslet, the surprised winner of the Best Supporting Actress award notched her first credit in 1991, while Matt Damon earned his second Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his beloved role in the Ridley Scott-directed The Martian.

The night belonged to The Revenant, which took home three awards including a Best Director nod for Alejandro González Iñárritu and a Best Actor prize for Leonardo DiCaprio
