SulaFest – A heady mix of music, wine, gourmet food, fashion and much, much more

The country’s most gorgeously situated; eagerly awaited Gourmet World Music Festival went several notches higher in its 9th edition this year. The festival saw over 10,000 people who had a weekend to remember and this year was a grander production with even more amazing memories.

SulaFest partygoers enjoyed a mega-mix of great music, wine, drinks, gourmet food, fashion, shopping and more at the idyllic environs of the scenic vineyards.

The Cat Empire made their India debut and rocked the stage on Saturday – on Sunday Kailasa set the stage on fire performing two songs from their soon to be released album - Kailasa Ishq Anokha.

The Atmapshere stage saw a record turn-out during the world renowned Edu Imbernon’s electrifying act.

Back and way bigger this year and shifted to midst of the vineyards was the Atmaspherestage where super cool DJs were seen spinning some incredible underground music. Headlining this stage was one of the world’s most sought after underground artists Edu Imbernon (Spain/Ibiza) | Deep House, Progressive House). Besides this you also had, Luna City Express (Germany), Rik Watts (Netherlands), Bono Goldbaum (Austria), O – Be (Spain/Ibiza), Sashanti (Russia) and Whosane and Anastacia from India.

The whose-who of the celebrity circuits attended SulaFest. Narendra Kumar, Mona Juneja, Yash Birla, Ishita Arun, Arjun Khanna, Kim Sharma, Malini Aggarwal, Malavika Sangghvi, Devieka Bhojwani, Aparna Badlani, Sameer Daddy Malhotra and Prahlad Kakkar to name a few.

Brightening up the weekend was the SulaFest Bazaar with a selection of fun items for sale. Foot massages, tarot reading, grape stomping, and a variety of other activities added to the fest-feel.

The newly revamped and extended Tasting Room along with the rustic Tasting Cellar and the VIP Tasting Room was exciting as always with special tours and tastings given to all the wine enthusiasts.

The newly launched Brut Tropicale, the popular Riesling, limited edition Rasa Shiraz and Rasa Cabernet were favorites!

Apart from wines from the vineyards of Sula, fest-goers also enjoyed a wide selection of drinks from around the world, many brought to India by Sula’s import arm Sula Selections

Hardys was on board as a wine partner and Asahi Super Dry Beer, Cointreau, Grant's Family Reserve Whiskey, Jägermeister, Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 Tennessee Whiskey and Stolichnaya Vodka were also present to ensure no one went thirsty!

The likes of Olive, Woodside Inn, Maroosh, Puffs & Roll, Makaloo and Prahlad Kakkar/Shankar Bhojnalay and served up great food to go with the wines. At the popular Soleil by La Plage, Chef Morgan Rainforth had prepared a special menu with organic produce from Sula’s very own farms, offering a sit-down gourmet dining experience like no other.

Tent City – where one could camp out amidst the cool vineyards was doubled from the year before and was also a huge hit!

As always, SulaFest goes out to benefit locally based NGO’s and non-profits – Sharan and Awas (animal welfare) and Hausla (special needs’ children). This aligned with Sula’s long-standing commitment to give back to the communities and causes in need.
