Latino track spins up a storm

Over the years Indian audiences have been very receptive to Latino music – from Ricky Martin’s Un Dos Tres and Livin’ La Vida Loca to Enrique’s Bailamos and Bailando, from Daddy Yankee’s Gasolina to Shakira’s Waka Waka and Loca. Though these are Spanish in language, it’s their up-beat, danceable and infectious Latino hooks that have made them huge hits with our audiences!

The latest Latino phenomenon catching on across the country is Ginza from Colombian reggaeton superstar J. Balvin.  Hailed by Billboard magazine as “the biggest breakout act Latin music has seen in many years”, J Balvin is bringing his brand of  Reggaeton back into the mainstream.

Creating a unique urban fusion that blends influences from Puerto Rico’s pioneering Reggaeton artists, the distinct Colombian rhythms of his heritage and a love for progressive Hip-Hop and R&B, J Balvin is a superstar in the making ready to break out to the world!

The India story is building as we write this – International radio stations and music channels have immediately placed the track / video on maximum rotation. DJs are spinning it multiple times a night and our audiences love every moment of it! This week, Ginza crashes into the Top 5 of Shazam’s `India Top 100’ songs chart leaving behind popular Bollywood tracks.

With his irresistible charm and infectious hooks, J Balvin is destined to lead the new wave of Latino sounds into India and Ginza is just the beginning.
