One of the most expensive James Bond movies ‘Spectre’ (The 24th film in the franchise) is out on Blu-ray and DVD in India. Excel Home Videos in association with 20th Century Fox Entertainment has released the movie on home video.

More recently at the 88^th Academy awards, Sam Smith’s ‘Spectre’ song Writing’s On the Wall won the best original song Oscar Sunday, upsetting Lady Gaga and songwriter Diane Warren’s anti-rape ballad Til It Happens To You from the documentary ‘The Hunting Ground’.

Writing’s On the Wall is the second Bond theme in a row to win the prize. Adele’s Skyfall title track won three years ago.

With 24 films till date (including ‘Spectre’), Bond movies are the longest running successful movie franchise. This is Daniel Craig’s first acting role in the last three years (last film was Skyfall).

A cryptic message from the past leads James Bond (Daniel Craig) to Mexico City and Rome, where he meets the beautiful widow (Monica Bellucci) of an infamous criminal. After infiltrating a secret meeting, Bond uncovers the existence of the sinister organization – Spectre. Needing the help of the daughter (Léa Seydoux) of an old nemesis, he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of Spectre, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy (Christoph Waltz) he seeks.

In Blu-Ray, the movie buffs can experience the go-behind scenes Bond’s biggest opening sequence filmed in Mexico City. ‘Spectre’ is available on DVD at Rs. 599 and Blu-Ray at Rs. 999 at all leading stores across the country.

It is also available in four different languages - English, Hindi, and Tamil and Telugu in 5.1 Surround Sound (DVD) and in 7.1 Surround Sound (Blu-Ray).
