Prince found dead inside his Minnesota home.

Pop singer Prince was found dead inside his Minnesota home. This shocking tragedy comes close on the heels when just last week the iconic singer left fans very concerned about his health by making an emergency landing in Illinois on his way to a concert in Atlanta, Georgia. There are no reports that claim if his sudden death is related to the same illness that forced his plane to land on Friday, 15th April. At the time it was reported that Prince had the flu, and he was rushed to a hospital after his plane landed in the middle of the night.

Prince’s rep, Yvette Noel-Schure, confirmed the tragic death to HollywoodLife.com. She wrote in an official statement, “It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57. There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time.”

Winner of the much-coveted Academy Awards, three American Music Awards and three Grammy Awards, Prince has captured the music world with his excellent music and redition. This delicate lanky figture, introvert with enchanting eyes that has made him a new superhero to millions of fans worldwide was born Prince Rogers Nelson, in Minneapolis on June 7th 1958. He had his own way of becoming famous. Raised in an overwhelmingly European environment, he was adept in playing guitar Rock ‘n’ roll. Later was his ludicrous dressing up, and performing onstage with got him noticed.

He is famous for giving us songs like Purple Rain, Lets go Crazy, and I would die for you, Batdance, Thieves in the temple, Diamonds and Pearls and My name is Prince among many others.

Prince also took on a new name for himself, from Prince in 1993 he reinvented himself and became The Artist, until he changed it only resemble a symbol.

Prince has influenced a whole generation of artists and musicians. His music has broken down the artificial barriers erected by the industry itself, and always defies categorization. He blurs the lines between Pop, Rock, Soul, Gospel and Funk, and at the same time sings about everything from rebirth and spirituality to sexuality and freedom. A tireless fighter for the rights of his fellow creative artists, Prince as we know him will always be remembered.
