blueFROG announced last month that their flagship venue at TODI Mills, which gave rise to an entire thriving industry as we see it today, is shutting its doors.

What does a venue like this with so much history and memories attached do on its way out? It celebrates with a big bang.

The last 3 days of blueFROG Todi Mills will see the brand celebrating with a 3 day festival titled FROG FEST that starts from 7 pm on Friday going into Saturday and Sunday, beginning as early as 4 pm into the night.

Artists from across the country are coming together, some specially flying in from abroad to be a part of this farewell series and to show solidarity for a venue that has been integral to some of their own artistic journeys and to the scene in India.

FROGFEST is not just any festival; it is but an emotionally charged fest, with almost every artist performing having a deep connection or story to tell about their journey with the venue. We can expect to see some very special performances.

The line up consists of old timers Midival Punditz full live set ft. Kutle Khan, , Ajay Prasanna +more. Papon will be joining in to jam with them.  ZERO (Frontman Rajeev will be flying in specially from London), Indus CREED, Ranjit Barot, Gino Banks, Dark Circle Factory, Ankur & The Galat Family, Suman Sridhar, Nikhil Dsouza, Tejas Menon and Kush Upadhyay will also perform . The original Founders of the Frog Dhruv Ghanekar (with Voyage) and Ashutosh Pathak will take the FROG stage on Sunday one last time. Dhruv’s opened this club as a leading Jazz guitarist and ending its journey with his current avatar with Voyage as a top-notch world music act.

UNMUTE will pay tribute to the blueFROG with their roster. UNMUTE is an agency that was born out of their association with blueFROG as the management of Jalebee Cartel that played exclusively at the frog in the early days for over a year. SPRYK, KAOS and NERM from the UNMUTE roster will close the first night of the festival.

International acts are also thrown into the mix with UK Bass Dj Nuphlo and Tritonik Afro- World band Tritonik from Mauritius.

No celebration at FROG could be complete without The All star Jazz Rock jam comprising of friends of the frog and artists that have been there from the day the doors opened. This is being spearheaded with Gino banks curating this Jazz Rock all star jam in similar style to International Jazz Day.

Expect to see a lot of surprise acts and additional artists announced, as we get closer to the day, and perhaps day of the show as well. This is not something anyone in the city with a musical ear will want to miss.
