India's first folk and fusion music festival Paddy Fields in association with Singleton Selections is all set to enthral audiences with an exciting concoction of music, from timeless and traditional pieces to thrilling contemporary rhythms. Paddy Fields in association with Singleton by Nesco will be held in Mumbai at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Goregaon on 15th and 16th October 2016. 

In its premiere offering, Nesco has announced an exciting line-up of both renowned and upcoming artists including The Colonial Cousins, Mame Khan, Gangadhar & Tulika, Papon, Chaar Yaar, Dhruv Voyage, The Nooran Sisters, and Salim & Sulaiman, who will provide an eclectic mix of sounds at the two-day festival.

Having commanded the respect and attention in folk music circuits and nationally, former India's Got Talent contestant Mame Khan, Bengali artists Gangadhar & Tulika and Sufi qawwali act Chaar Yaar bring the ‘Folk’ element to the weekend while the Colonial Cousins, Papon, Dhruv Voyage and Salim & Sulaiman represent the ‘Fusion’ aspect. Hailing from a family of musicians, The Nooran Sisters have trained in the field of traditional Sufi music for over 13 years and represent the best of both worlds (folk and fusion). These acts combine the best Indian Folk and Fusion music on offer in the country today.
