Portland based artist Alexandra Savior has revealed yet another sonic gem to the world. Mystery Girl is the infectious new single taken from her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Belladonna of Sadness,’ due for worldwide release on April 7, 2017 via Columbia Records.
Alongside its worldwide release, the official video premiered via V Magazine and was directed by New Zealander Sam Kristofski.
Alexandra Savior has taken her band and new material on the road across North America, joining Daughter as support for 5 West Coast dates.
Alexandra’s unique sound and style first caught the attention of several creative forces including T. Bone Burnett who placed her song, Risk, in the most recent season of HBO’s cult series “True Detective.” In addition to this, Alexandra also co-wrote the most recent Last Shadow Puppets’ single, Miracle Aligner along with the erstwhile Arctic Monkey, Alex Turner. An artist in every sense of the word, not only does Ms. Savior write music and perform live, she also paints her own artwork and writes, directs and edits her own music videos.
Mystery Girl was written by 21-year-old Alexandra and British rock front-man Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys/Last Shadow Puppets), and was co-produced by James Ford (Haim/Florence and the Machine). It is available on all digital platforms.
