The Chainsmokers just dropped yet another super-catchy new single called Paris and there's no doubt you'll be hearing it quite a lot on the radio during the coming weeks, and months (the whole year actually). Paris is not part of the electronic production duo's most recent College EP but it is music from the upcoming full-length studio album they're readying to release later in 2017 with Columbia Records.
"We were staying in Paris / To get away from your parents" are the opening lyrics and from there the song just takes over your mind. The lyrics are catchy and interesting, the melody is to die for, and The Chainsmokers-crafted electro-organic production is just ace.
The Chainsmokers are also leading the way in the iHeartRadio Music Awards nominees with 11 nods, including Song of the Year for Closer featuring Halsey, along with Best Duo/Group of the Year and Best New Pop Artist.
Beyoncé and Sia likewise garnered 4 noms apiece, while Bryson Tiller, Calvin Harris, Fifth Harmony, Justin Timberlake and Nicky Jam each earned three.
