You couldn’t miss out hissignature hear gear and progressive music, Joel Thomas Zimmerman aka Deadmau5, got his Indian fans buzzing during his three day India tour. The tour kick started with a gig in Mumbai on 14th March, followed by Bangalore and New Delhi on 15th and 16th March respectively.
In an exclusive interview (Check out his full interview on the site) he said he was happy to be in India. Not many know, but Deadmau5 is a crazed fan of Daler Mehndi. At his Mumbai gig he played Mehndi's famous track Tunak Tunak Tun which was remixed live. Those who attended his Delhi gig were even lucky for he shared the stage with the bhangra King Daler Mehndi. It probably turned out to be the highlight of the evening at the Delhi performance. After his India stint, Deadmau5 heads out to perform in the United States, Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom and Austria, and will be performing at other smaller various shows too. Zimmerman confirmed that apart from gigs, he is not working on any new projects.

The DJ so far has six studio albums - Get Scraped, Vexillology, Random Album Title, For Lack of a Better Name, 4×4=12 and Album Title Goes Here. He has also worked alongside DJs and producers like Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire of Knife Party and Pendulum, Wolfgang Gartner, Bighorse and Melleefresh.
