After a gap of a few years, New-Zealand singer and songwriter Lorde has entered back into with the release of her two new singles Greenlight and Liability. The singer recently performed the two numbers at Saturday Night live and has already gained success worldwide with the two hits. As we await for the release of the new album, her singles continue to gain higher numbers on the charts. A few hours after release, Lorde's 'Liability' launched to No. 1 on ‘Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 Chart’ The unique music chart measures real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on social media site-Twitter.
On release of her first single Green Light, the track also led the Trending 140 chart after its release on March 3rd. The song debuted at No. 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated March 18 and is currently on No 19 on the chart.
The song Liability is inspired by incidents in her life. It is the second release from her forthcoming album- Melodrama. As the album is set to release on the 16th of June, later this year we can only wait and see what’s next from the singer.
