A new Charlie Puth track has released and we can have enough of it.
The Atlantic artist gave his new recording a push with a pop-up art project in Los Angeles titled “The Attention Room.” Located at 8017 Melrose Avenue, the trippy installation features an LED “infinity tunnel” and is designed to replicate the brain’s reaction to receiving attention. Naturally, Puth’s latest song soundtrack’s the experience.
There’s no release date or name yet for Puth’s next LP, the follow-up to his platinum-selling debut Nine Track Mind, which carried the top 40 hits “One Call Away,” “Marvin Gaye" (featuring Meghan Trainor) and We Don’t Talk Anymore (feat Selena Gomez).
The video’s drama starts at a club, as Puth tries his best to avoid an ex-lover. The tumultuous nature of the relationship becomes clear as the couple make their way to a luxury apartment and the blond beauty begins to throw vases and glassware. The two end up kissing and making up, and the heated cycle begins all over again.
The steamy visual comes just days after the single was released Friday. The 25-year-old Grammy-nominated singer mischievously teased the video Sunday night on Twitter, hinting at “one more thing.”
