Tata Sky, India’s leading DTH player announced a tie up with Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd., India’s leading entertainment content house to launch Miniplex, a unique subscription-based movie premiere service. Miniplex will Premiere one movie every Friday for the first time on Indian Television. In addition, it will also showcase carefully chosen recent movies. Miniplex is an AD-Free, subscription-based service.

Times Music launches exclusive mobile apps for the Diwali festive season

Just ahead of the festive season, Times Music has for the first time launched new mobile apps for Diwali. The apps “Shubh Diwali”, “50 Top Diwali Songs” and “Lakshmi Mantra” are available free for Android mobile devices worldwide. The apps feature streaming of full length devotional tracks featuring artists like Lata Mangeshkar, Pt. Jasraj, Anuradha Paudwal, Suresh Wadkar, Uma Mohan, Mahalakhsmi Iyer, etc.
