Sony Music in collaboration with NID, released a visual treat for Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khans’ fans on his 69^thbirth anniversary. Grammy Award Winner A R Rahman on his social yesterday recommended his followers to watch it and we know why.

The song Gurus of Peace sung by the stalwarts did not have a video and now this visually stunning animated music video get the song alive. Interestingly, this song is the last song sung by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

The animation was done digitally, hand drawing each frame using a tablet, roughly amounting to just over 3000 frames. This was created as a 6 month graduation project by Ms Shanthala Setty, student at NID Ahmedabad under the guidance of Professor Sekhar Mukherjee, Head Animation Faculty
