Her greatest musical influences have been Lata Mangeshkar, Shreya Goshal, arabic singer Amr Diab and her producer Atif Ali. Her western influences are Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey. This variety is also seen in all her songs from Palkaan to Woh Pal which have a very universal sound that draw listeners from all walks of life around the world. Although British born, she herself decided to sing predominantly in Urdu / Hindi for which she had to study hard behind the scenes. She credits Lata Mangeskar as her accent guide.
“I am really excited to accomplish this career defining goal for my music career. I’ve worked really hard for flying back and forth to Dubai to produce the debut album. I want to spread all my love to more people around the world and let my Album take them into another world. Learning to sing in Urdu has been worth it, considering it’s a whole new language for me. No other language comes close to the emotions one can portray in the language of Bollywood. I love all of these songs and I know my fans will love them too!,”says Tripet Garielle.
