Vasudha Sharma recreates the magic of Rahman's Humma Humma

Culture Machine in association with Havells has come up with it's latest video featuring Vasudha Sharma as an extension of the brand's on-going campaign 'Respect For Women' in an extremely interesting manner, making music in the Kitchen.

Taking on from Havell’s latest marketing campaign ‘Respect for Women’, Culture Machine that offers digital video entertainment for the internet generation has created a bricolage song. In order to create something spectacular in order to suit the appetite of the online audience, Culture Machine came with up with a video featuring their talent, Vasudha Sharma from the pop band Aasma and Sarthak Mudgal a renowned percussionist. The song is similar to a jug band where in they make musical beats with the help of everyday appliances which are used in the kitchen. The idea was to spread awareness that a women’s place is not in the kitchen alone, but it is wherever she wants to be and she could do whatever she wishes to.

The video features the popular A.R.Rahman track,Humma Humma’ from the movie Bombay. Vasudha and Mudgal have created a unique blend of the classic hit and mixed it uniquely with the beats from the appliances courtesy of Havells.

Culture Machine came up with this unique idea of exploring music creatively with these appliances and Vasudha + Sarthak were genius enough to collaborate for this striking rendition.
