Arjun Kanungo signs exclusively to Universal Music Group

Riding high on the success of his recent single Aaya Na Tu a collaboration with Momina Mustehsanpopstar Arjun Kanungo signs exclusively as a singer and composer to Universal Music Group (UMG).  The singer/composer/actor will release all his new music under UMG’s `non-film’ imprint EMI Records India a sub label launched in collaboration with acclaimed director Mohit Suri.

A classically trained singer, Arjun's first commercial success came with Khoon Choos Le in the 2013 film Go Goa Gone, starring Saif Ali Khan, which topped all major charts. Since then he has churned out 6 hit singles in 3 years- Baaki Baatein Peene Baad ft. Badshah, Fursat, and Ek Dafaa (Chinnama). His Tamil Debut came with Sirrikadhey, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, from the film 'Remo'.

His single Gallan Tipsiyaan has garnered massive appreciation online. His collaborative single with Neha Kakkar titled La La La has currently crossed 77 million views while his latest single Aaya Na Tu with Momina Mustehsan released on VYRL Originals is at 36 million views on YouTube.

Arjun has now become one of India’s most recognizable popstars with over 380 Million+ audio / video streams online. He has gained immense popularity and built his fanbase across the country. Arjun won the GIMA Award for best debut in 2015. He was featured in Times of India's 100 most desirable men in 2016 at No. 31 beating huge names like Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor.
